Robertshaw 710-508 Gas Valve

The 710-508 is a genuine product manufactured by Robertshaw, who is a dedicated producer of home and commercial thermostats. This particular product is a Gas Valve that is specifically for use in applications that have limited space, such as a Fireplace Log application or a Recreational Vehicles application. It includes an automatic pilot safety valve, pilot gas filter, manual valve (gas cock), pilot outlet and pilot adjusting key. This valve can also be mounted in many ways, except that it should not be mounted upside down. The control sits on top of the gas valve which makes it very easy to manually adjust the pilot.
