Gr?nsfors ceramic sharpening stone The ceramic sharpening stone from Gr?nsfors consists of ceramic abrasives, the grain structure of which is designed to optimally meet the need for coarse and fine grinding. It has a coarser side with a grain size of 180 for damage caused by somewhat coarser wear and tear, and a finer side with a grain size of 600 for fine grinding. The composition of the grain makes the stone durable and tough. In contrast to natural stone, ceramic whetstones have a more precise grit. The stone is round and flat in shape, with beveled edges to provide a rounded transition. The fine side makes up 2/3 of the strength because this side is usually used and worn the most. The stone is usually used with water, but it can also be used dry. The sharpening stone has a protective rubber shell. Gr?nsfors Bruk has three different products for sharpening that are relatively similar: a ceramic sharpening stone, the diamond file and a sharpening stone made of natural stone. The main difference between these products lies in the material, but the grain size and shape of the products are also different. Which of the products you should choose depends on your own preferences and personal taste.
