The bits in this Greenlee high-quality drill tap kit are high-speed steel, which is stronger than carbon steel and lasts longer. You can save time by drilling, tapping, debarring and countersinking all at once with these versatile bits. The bits have a tapered back beyond tap to avoid damage to the thread from over-drilling. These Greenlee high-speed steel drill tap bits have a hex shank which provides a firm connection to the drill chuck. With these bits, you can tap material as strong as 10-gauge metal. A quick change adapter comes with for quickly changing bits. This versatile set has 6 different bit sizes which range from 6-32 NC to 1/4-20 NC.
