Battery cables are used to connect batteries to other DC sources which can accept the voltage it is providing. Depending on the level of amperage running through the cables, a proper gauge size is recommended to ensure safe power distribution. To avoid resistance in the cable, it is best to keep your cables as short as possible. It is also a best practice to use thicker cables than needed to maximize the flow of energy safely. Our cables are copper clad aluminum which is lighter in weight than pure copper cables while still delivering higher conductivity than pure aluminum.
